Work Schedule: Full-time; hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with options of 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting a small HR team with a wide range of operational and administrative functions. This individual will help ensure smooth HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys multitasking, and is highly detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation, orientations, and exit procedures
• Manage interview scheduling and provide support to the recruiting team, including applicant tracking system updates
• Assist with new hire orientation sessions and employee training enrollment tracking
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and support enrollment activities
• Maintain and update employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Support payroll processing by preparing and validating employee data and changes
• Partner with internal teams to track employee status updates such as promotions, compensation changes, and departmental transfers
• Assist with compliance efforts, including reporting, audits, and maintaining required documentation
• Contribute to planning and execution of internal events, trainings, and staff meetings
• Provide administrative and technical support for virtual meetings and webinars
• Track invoices, maintain documentation, and support general HR administrative needs

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
• Strong background in HR operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration
• Experience with HRIS platforms, including ADP Workforce Now (required)
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
• Experience transitioning from paper-based to digital HR systems preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• SHRM certification and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
