Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist:


Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for restaurant and café positions (e.g., service staff, baristas, kitchen crew, supervisors, and managers).
  • Source candidates through various channels including job portals, social media, referrals, and walk-ins.
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate technical/operational assessments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume hiring.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support onboarding activities and ensure smooth hiring processes.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and hiring success rates.Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the F&B / hospitality sector in Egypt.
  • Proven experience in mass hiring and frontline roles.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience hiring for well-known restaurant or café chains.
  • Familiarity with local labor market trends in Egypt’s F&B sector.
  • Strong networking and headhunting capabilities.
