We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our team and play a key role in supporting and strengthening our workforce.

Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees across the organization, reporting directly to the President. This role blends employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR operations, requiring sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidence and discretion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Addresses employee concerns promptly and effectively, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Conducts workplace investigations and provides well-reasoned recommendations.
- Supports and administers performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
- Partners with managers on performance improvement plans and employee development strategies.
- Identifies organizational training needs and coordinates relevant programs.
- Facilitates HR-related training and workshops to enhance employee and leadership capabilities.
- Ensures compliance with California employment laws and regulations.
- Reviews and updates policies in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Collaborates with legal counsel on HR-related matters as needed.
- Partners with benefits brokers to administer employee benefit programs (medical, dental, 401(k), etc.).
- Serves as a resource to employees for benefits-related questions and support.
- Maintains accurate and compliant employee records.
- Generates reports and analyzes HR metrics to support business decisions.
- Mediates employee conflicts and promotes effective communication.
- Supports initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Evaluates HR processes and recommends enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stays current on industry trends and implements best practices.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma.
- 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months) preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law (Nevada knowledge a plus).
- Experience with HRIS systems is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Must have predictable and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively (speak, hear, read, and write) in person, by phone, and via email.
- Sit for extended periods; frequent computer/phone use
- Repetitive keyboarding/mouse work; close visual focus on screens/documents
- Occasional standing/walking/reaching; lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
· This position requires occasional travel between our various locations.

Schedule: In-person, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience.
