Compensation

Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually (exempt)

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and administrative operations. This role serves as a key partner to managers and employees while ensuring compliance with Michigan labor laws for small businesses. Additionally, this role acts as office manager and provides administrative support to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

· Full-cycle recruiting and hiring support.

· Administer onboarding and new hire orientation.

· Coordinate and deliver employee training programs.

· Assist with performance reviews and feedback processes.

· Enforce company policies and procedures.

· Guide corrective actions and employee discipline.

· Resolve employee relations issues and conflicts.

· Ensure compliance with Michigan labor laws.

· Maintain HR records and documentation.

· Serve as office manager (supplies, inventory, operations).

· Provide administrative support to executive team.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

· 3–5+ years HR generalist experience.

· Knowledge of Michigan labor laws for small business.

· Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

· Organized and detail-oriented.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
