Coordinates all recruitment efforts (pre-employment) for all exempt /nonexempt personnel, and temporary staff; Works with Communications Manager to maintain HR portion of the DAAA website
- Oversees quality and integrity of data of HR related databases by conducting data audits, reports (i.e. turnover, recruitment costs, demographic profiles, terminations, etc.) and HR staff training

Coordinates / oversees new employee orientations, in-service/training

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Assists with routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Maintains reports and queries, develops or assists in the development of HR and CARF Accreditation standard reports and/or other regulatory audits.

Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, retirement plan providers, and staffing agencies.

Assist with addressing internal customer concerns relative to HR matters on a daily basis.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Assists with processing unemployment claims.

Coordinators all efforts with completing EEOC requests / reports timely

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments, (i.e. Relias, professional licensure, auto insurance etc.)

Assists with preparation and maintenance of files, storage, and requests for reviewing (and/or) obtaining copies of files correspondence

Assists with updating data for compensation program; assists with gathering salary surveys;
- Participates on various Committees for improvements of the agency / moral of team members.

Education:
-
BA degree in Human Resources or other related disciplines.

Prior experience working with a Human Resource Information Systems(HRIS).

Prior experience in the Development and Delivery of Training materials.
-
5+ years of solid HR experience
-
Working Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
-
Compensation, Benefits Management/Risk Management, and Recruitment experience are a plus
- PHR/ SPHR certification preferred

This individual provides professional level support in a variety of Human Resource functions. Specializing and serving as subject matter expert (SME) in HR functions that include benefits administration, HRIS, training and development and talent acquisition. Also, handles risk management, workers compensation, and unemployment claims, and ensures compliance with EEOC requirements.
