Responsibilities

We are seeking an admin intern to provide essential support to our program by managing administrative tasks like data entry, grant writing, organizing files, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, while also learning key office skills and assisting with project coordination. The role involves using office software, assisting with reports and presentations, and providing customer service to internal and external contacts. It's a learning experience for individuals pursuing a degree, offering hands-on exposure to administrative procedures and professional communication and culture. The selected candidate will work 1:1 with the CEO for daily operations as well as the employees.
Typical Responsibilities
- Office Support: Photocopying, organizing physical and moving files digitally.
- Correspondence & Communication:Managing emails and mail, acting as a point of contact, directing calls, and preparing documents like letters, memos, newsletters, and reports.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinating and setting up meetings, and preparing meeting materials.
- Data Management: Entering and managing data in spreadsheets and databases, and assisting with research and reporting. Moving the current paper system to digital.
- Technical Support: Assisting staff with basic operations of office hardware and software.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in data entry, proofreading, and maintaining records.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with standard office software, including google doc software and presentation tools. ability to install printers, update laptops, overhead projection, and copy machines.
- Proactiveness & Initiative: Willingness to take initiative and find ways to improve office operations.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude/dress.
