Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our team with daily HR operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Time Commitment & Responsibilities

Time Commitment:
Approximately 10–15 hours per week (depending on projects), with a minimum commitment of one term (3 months). Multiple terms are preferred.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Projects:

  • Assist in full-cycle recruiting duties (sourcing, screening, onboarding), including completion of new hire paperwork
  • Provide company orientation and training overviews
  • Create and implement employee recognition programs
  • Develop recruitment strategies and coordinate recruiting events
  • Build posting partnerships with job boards and local schools
  • Create and administer weekly or monthly internal communications focused on company best practices
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on social media strategies and talent attraction

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Interest in human resources and people operations
