Human Resources Intern

Human Resources Intern

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with day-to-day tactical tasks and projects. This role provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, HR analytics, compliance, and policy review.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with recruiting efforts and brining new ideas to attract talent.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
  • Help track and ensure completion of required trainings and documentation.
  • Conduct handbook comparisons to identify policy updates, inconsistencies, differences, and compliance gaps.
  • Review current job descriptions to identify gaps, missing roles, and needed updates.
  • Compile HR data and assist in building HR analytics dashboard and visual reports.
  • Create HR metrics graphics for leadership review.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERTISE:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
