Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and support our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, including expertise in employment and labor law, talent acquisition, and employee relations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee orientation, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, and other employment laws to maintain a safe and fair working environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with organizational objectives and promote employee engagement.
- Manage the recruitment process including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and negotiating offers.
- Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on conflict management, employee evaluation, and training & development initiatives.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or ADP for efficient data collection and analysis related to human capital management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness through effective organization design.
- Lead change management efforts to improve processes and drive program management initiatives across the organization.
- Administer payroll processes ensuring accuracy in compensation while managing workers' compensation claims as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with employees to enhance employee relations and address any concerns effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and conflict management strategies.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation skills, program management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Experience with HR sourcing techniques and tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Taleo or Paylocity is preferred.
- Proficiency in using HRIS platforms including Kronos, Ceridian, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives that drive efficiency within the HR function.
