Roles and Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

Lead the recruitment and hiring process by working closely with Head of Administration, hiring HoD and managers to fill open positions in a timely manner

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations, offering package & employment contract and onboarding

Work with stakeholders to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent through various recruiting channels (job posting through online recruiting websites/social media, engagement with 3rd party professional agents, career fairs, etc.)

Maintain a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive candidate experience and seamless integration into the company including preparing visa, accommodation as necessary, etc.

Provide induction training & coordinate workplace/necessaries set-up for new joiners.
Compensation & Benefits

Accurately process employee payroll, ensuring timely and correct distribution of paychecks.

Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, and other compensation components.

Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

Manage and submit year-end tax documentation and reports

Administer employee benefits programs, including health and travel insurances statutory and other company provided benefits

Conduct regularly assess, benchmark, and recommend the adjustment of the company's benefits and compensation structures against industry standards to ensure competitiveness
Learning and Development/ Performance Management

Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the organization

Manage the performance appraisal process, working with appraisers (goal-setting, feedback, and rating/calibration)
HRIS Administration
-
Administer accurate attendance record (leave & work hour)

Maintain and update HR policies & ensure in line with current legal requirements and best practices.

Ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day HR functions, such as responding to employee inquiries and resolving HR-related issues.

Oversee and manage the company's HR Information System (HRIS) for employee data/records including

Administer payroll with F&A.
Other HR Responsibilities
-
Coordinate with internal and external parties for execution of group HR matters (including overseas HR counterparts, outsourced service providers, etc.)

If any, initiate & manage development of HRIS and introduction of the new HRIS project with IT & security
-
Perform other duties as required
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant discipline
-
At least 8 years in HR generalist role
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Meticulous and organized
-
Able to work independently and as a team player
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good writing style
-
Working experience in a ship management company and hiring experience for ex-mariner employees advantageous
-
Experience in multinational environment and business communication with overseas office preferred
