As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to build and strengthen our HR function from the ground up.


Position Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR processes, policies, and best practices to support our growing team. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, hiring, compliance, and terminations. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—comfortable designing HR infrastructure while managing day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle , including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Manage hiring efforts by partnering with department leaders to attract, interview, and hire top talent that aligns with company culture and goals.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new employees are set up for success.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
  • Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance, coaching, and support to managers and staff to promote a positive work environment.
  • Manage terminations and exit interviews with professionalism and compliance in mind.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and optimize HR systems and records , including HRIS and payroll systems (Paycor experience preferred).
  • Support performance management and professional development programs to help employees grow and thrive.
  • Provide HR reporting and insights to leadership on key metrics such as retention, engagement, and headcount trends.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a growing company environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and implementing HR policies and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; Paycor experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
