Objective / Purpose / Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for providing HR assistance to the HR Leadership & assigned clients. lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities / Tasks:
Primary duties, responsibilities, and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
2. Provides support and guidance to HR Specialists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
3. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
4. Responsible HR Specialists, Recruiters and direct repots follow policies and procedures per client.
5. Conducts training internally and externally.
6. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
7. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
8. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
9. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
10. Supports HR Specialists as needed keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance, 401(k) of assigned client/s.
11. Supports HR Specialists as needed maintaining HR systems of assigned client/s by entering Personnel Actions, Terminations, Promotions, Pay rate changes and monitoring performance review status.
12. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, employee relations and programs and refers inquiries requiring decisions to the HResource Group leadership.
13. Completes accident & general investigations of assigned client/s reporting conclusions to CEO.
14. Supports HR Specialists as needed to prepare employee separation notices and related documentation in preparation to conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations of assigned client/s.
15. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
16. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
18. Will perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
19. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
20. Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
21. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
22. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Minimum Qualifications (Confirmable Formal Education, Certifications, Work/Industry Experience)
1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Experience in similar size organizations is preferred.

5. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
6. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from assigned clients and the public.
7. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
8. Professional demeanor and outgoing personality with the ability to relate to diverse Achievers (employees) & assigned client/s.
9. Computer savvy (MS Office suite, Teams, Human Resources systems, Internet software, payroll systems).
10. General knowledge of accounting.
Physical Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, Achiever (employee) is regularly required to sit, stoop, bend, and crouch.
· Reach with hands and arms, use fingers to handle or feel.
· The Achiever (employee) is required to hear and speak.
Work Environment/Conditions:
**Onsite 100% in-person position in the Design District or Brickell area**
· Candidate must be comfortable working in an office environment or shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office.
· Most of the time will be spent sitting behind a desk assisting Achievers (employees) & assigned clients.
· Candidate must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration.
· This position frequently interacts in person, email, phone, cell phone and virtual cameras on zoom/ virtual conferencing.
· The Achiever (employee) is required to have a professional appearance when hosting video calls with the public and or assigned client/s.
· Most of the time will be spent indoors.
