Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Manager to lead our HR team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with employment and labor laws. As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving strategic initiatives that align with our business objectives.
Duties
- Oversee the recruitment process, including talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees to ensure a seamless integration into the organization.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Develop and implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and promote career growth within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment practices, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
- Administer benefits programs and payroll processes while ensuring accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) management.
- Lead performance management initiatives by establishing evaluation criteria and providing guidance for employee assessments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to design organizational structures that support strategic planning and succession planning efforts.
- Utilize data analysis skills to collect HR metrics that inform decision-making processes related to human capital management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong emphasis on talent management, employee relations, and conflict management.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations as well as experience with benefits administration and workers' compensation.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts related to HR services.
- Proficiency in utilizing various HR software systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or similar platforms for payroll processing and HRIS functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in program management with a focus on process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
