An HR Manager in construction is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising HR policies and practices to support project delivery and statutory compliance. The position typically reports to the Managing Director/General Manager and works closely with project managers, site in‑charges, and accounts.

  • Manpower planning and recruitment for staff, engineers, supervisors, and site workers based on project schedules and budgets.tanca+1​

  • Maintaining employee records, contracts, offer/appointment letters, and documentation for both permanent and project‑based employees.goconstruct+1​
  • Implementing HR policies related to working hours, leave, discipline, and grievance handling across sites and head office.indeed+1​

  • Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA/PG in HR or Industrial Relations preferred.indeed​
  • 5–8+ years of HR experience with at least a few years in construction/infra/engineering projects or similar field environment.eddy+1​
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, BOCW norms, PF/ESI, and wage compliance for contract and casual workers.eddy+1​
  • Experience managing HR for multiple sites, including coordination with subcontractors and labour suppliers.tanca+1​
  • Good skills in MS Excel, HRIS/payroll software, and documentation for audits and statutory inspections.eddy+1​
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities to deal with management, staff, and site workers.clearcompany+1​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
