Human Resources Manager

Reports to: Director of Operations

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager supports the organization by overseeing core HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, and benefits administration. This role plays an important part in maintaining a healthy, values-driven workplace while ensuring HR and payroll processes are accurate, organized, and well-managed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including policies, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Develop and refine HR policies and procedures that align with our organizational values and mission.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Maintain employee records, coordinate benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and coordination with benefits and time-off policies.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees, offering guidance and support in alignment with our culture of care.
  • Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement, professional development, and organizational health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM - 5PM and Friday from 8:30AM - 3PM.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior experience in Human Resources management or administration.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and maintain professionalism.
  • A thoughtful, approachable demeanor; someone who leads with both competence and care.
  • A genuine passion for serving people and contributing to a mission-minded organization.
  • Proficient use of Google Suite applications.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
