Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives, support organizational growth, and cultivate a positive workplace culture. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence talent management, employee relations, compliance, and process improvement within a vibrant marine-focused company.

<Duties>

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational design.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, orientation programs, and ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA and OSHA standards.
  • Administer benefits programs, payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, ADP, Workday), and workers' compensation claims to ensure accurate processing and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Lead HR sourcing efforts using ATS platforms like Taleo, iCIMS, or SAP SuccessFactors to attract top talent efficiently.
  • Supervise HR team members and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, change management, and process improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards and manage workers' compensation processes effectively.

<Experience>

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience leading HR teams or departments in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Dayforce or Ceridian; experience with payroll platforms like Paychex or ADP is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict management, data analysis for HR metrics, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic setting. Pay: $60,236.94 - $72,543.41 per year
