Human Resources Manager

Turbine Engine Services (TES) is a growing aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization supporting commercial and defense aviation customers. TES is committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and developing a high-performing workforce that supports the critical needs of the aerospace industry.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function and partner with leadership to support the company’s continued growth.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while working closely with leadership to implement strategic workforce initiatives. This role will manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and organizational development programs that support TES’s operational goals.

This position plays a key role in maintaining a strong workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment regulations and aerospace industry standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Strategy
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Help develop leadership capability across the organization.
  • Identify training needs and implement employee development programs.
Talent Acquisition
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, professional, and leadership positions.
  • Work with department managers to define competencies and hiring requirements.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain high-performing aerospace professionals.
Employee Relations
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, performance issues, and workplace concerns.
  • Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee relations matters when necessary.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Compliance & HR Operations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulatory requirements , including the Drug & Alcohol Abatement Program .
  • Conduct internal HR audits and maintain accurate personnel documentation.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes impacting employment and the aerospace industry.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Analyze compensation trends and recommend competitive pay programs.
  • Support administration of benefits, compensation, and leave programs.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of HR management experience required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or other regulated industries st rongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with M icrosoft Office and HRIS systems.
