Human Resources Manager

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for building and supporting a highly engaged, compliant, and high‑performing workforce aligned with business objectives. This role oversees core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and retention. The HR Manager partners closely with leaders across the organization to strengthen culture, guide organizational change, and implement HR strategies that drive overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition

  • Conduct workforce planning to assess staffing requirements
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent
  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment and monitor hiring metrics such as time‑to‑fill and internal promotions

Employee Development & Engagement

  • Perform job analysis and maintain accurate job descriptions
  • Lead onboarding, new‑hire orientation, recognition programs, and succession planning efforts
  • Coordinate training programs and support ongoing employee development

Leadership & Performance Management

  • Partner with managers to build strong, high‑performing teams
  • Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and employee relations
  • Support leadership development initiatives

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Maintain personnel files and HR records in compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare reports and assist with audits related to EEO, VETS, AAP, and other compliance programs
  • Conduct fair, impartial investigations into employee issues and concerns
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are current, compliant, and consistently applied

Compensation, Benefits & Reporting

  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to support program recommendations
  • Track and interpret HR metrics related to turnover, engagement, training participation, and total rewards
  • Provide HR insights and data‑driven recommendations to leadership

Organizational Support

  • Promote and model company values, mission, and vision
  • Champion organizational change initiatives and support leaders during transitions
  • Lead special projects to standardize HR practices across multiple locations
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent HR experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring HR staff preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Proven ability to lead and implement HR initiatives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and standard computer applications
  • PHR or SHRM‑CP certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $86,068.00 - $129,103.00 per year
