Human Resources Manager

Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania is the leading regional eye practice servicing patients in Berks, Lebanon, Schuylkill and Montgomery counties. The practice features 25 doctors and five office and optical shop locations.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our personnel initiatives and foster a positive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in human capital management, employment law, and talent development. As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering an engaged workforce.

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with senior management, develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational growth and workforce planning.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts through effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes utilizing Paycor HR and EASE .
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and affirmative action planning.
  • Conduct orientation sessions, performance management initiatives, and training & development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in human capital management and strategic planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee orientation, evaluation processes, and succession planning.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as EASE; familiarity with payroll systems like Paycor is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail through data collection and data entry tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and foster an inclusive workplace culture.

Pay: $65,449.82 - $78,821.29 per year
