The Human Resources Manager partners with the Human Resources Director to provide support to the management team on employee relations and serve as a change champion to increase employee engagement and influence the company’s culture.
Essential job functions:
- Lead end-to-end onboarding processes, including orientation, training coordination, and new hire engagement.
- Work with site leadership, supervisors and employees at all levels leading the human resources initiatives to achieve business goals.
- Recruiting and Talent Development- Develop an effective recruitment strategy and manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of all hourly and salaried personnel.
- Provide technical support to employees and managers on LMS navigation, access issues, and course completion.
- Partner with leadership to align succession pipelines with long-term business goals.
- Lead and help to move projects forward upon request of Human Resources and/or Operations leaders.
- Train and coach managers and employees on topics including performance management, benefits and wellness, workplace diversity and PRISM business policies.
- Perform local market compensation analyses in order to recommend hourly wages, salary structure and pay policies.
- Foster strong employee relations and maintain positive employee communication through town hall meetings, publications and company newsletter.
- Lead safety committees and partner with leadership to promote a culture of safety.
- Oversee employee disciplinary and termination procedures and coach managers on resolving employee issues.
- Partner with leadership to align employee experience programs to improve organizational culture.
- Ensure accuracy of employee data in the HRIS system and employee files, along with HR metrics and reporting.
- Support the payroll process with PRISMs time and attendance system, by enrolling new hires and updating punch errors for site employees.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback as appropriate.
- Manages the company's interests in unemployment claims and workers' compensation programs.
- Coordinate temporary staffing needs of the business site.
- Manage tuition reimbursement program.
- Assist in other job-related activities to help support a clean, safe and effective organization.
Training and Work experience requirements or preferred:
- Minimum 7 years’ progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing full cycle recruiting and onboarding multiple hourly positions.
- Maintain a strong on-the-floor presence to support employees and daily operations.
- Actively engage with employees to address issues in real time and support daily operation.
Education & System Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Human Resources or Business Management preferred.
- Human Resources background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, communications, performance management and training and development.
- Project management skills
- Strong technical skills/aptitude; proficiency Workday and ADP is required.
Essential Physical demands:
- Sit, stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
- Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
- Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Pay: $54,207.84 - $85,000.00 per year
