Human Resources Manager

Via Medica, part of the International SOS Group, is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic HR professional with healthcare industry experience to drive people initiatives, support business growth, and enhance employee engagement across our UAE operations.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on HR leadership across workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll oversight, organisational development, compliance, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and talent management initiatives.

Provide expert guidance on people, culture, and organisational effectiveness matters.

Ensure HR policies and practices align with UAE Labour Law and best practice.

Talent & Employee Experience

Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for healthcare and corporate professionals.

Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.

Foster a positive employee relations environment and manage complex employee matters.

Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and a high-performance culture.

HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee HR operations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR systems.

Monitor HR metrics and workforce analytics to support business decision-making.

Lead HR compliance reviews and ensure adherence to company standards and UAE regulations.

Support medical workforce registration, licensing, mobilisation, and regulatory processes.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in HR Management and/or HR Business Partnering.

MUST HAVE Experience within the healthcare, medical, or healthcare services sector.

Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employee relations practices.

Experience across recruitment, performance management, payroll, benefits, HR systems, and compliance.

Proven people leadership and stakeholder management experience.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrix environment.

Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent HR qualification is advantageous.
