Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned HR Operations Lead to oversee and manage core HR processes for our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll management, labor law compliance, employee life cycle operations, HRMS administration, and HR analytics. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong process ownership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Compliance:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.

Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements including PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory filings.

Employee Life Cycle Management:

Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and other employee lifecycle processes.

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with compliance standards.

HRMS Administration:

Administer and maintain HRMS systems, ensuring data integrity and process automation.

Collaborate with IT and vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution.

Reporting & Analytics:

Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports for leadership review.

Provide insights on workforce trends, attrition, and compliance metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on HR operations matters.

Support audits and internal reviews related to HR processes.
Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years in a lead role.

Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and payroll practices.

Experience with HRMS platforms and data reporting tools.

Exposure to engineering or oil & gas services industry preferred.
