Human Resources & Payroll Specialist

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
  • Exempt position
  • Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30P
  • Responsible for processing and administering biweekly payroll accurately in UKG Ready HRIS
  • Coordinate and administer all employee benefit programs
  • Process leave of absences and coordinate with third party administrator in processing disability claims
  • Work closely with Finance department to ensure proper reconciliation and payroll tax compliance
  • Primary point of contact for producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports
  • Assist employees with inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions
  • Requires a strong team player who can effortlessly manage a host of key details simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality-oriented mindset
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or equivalent job experience/education. PHR or HR Certification is a PLUS
  • Minimum of 1+ years of Payroll processing, HRIS System experience, report generation, Benefits coordination and Leaves Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to utilize and troubleshoot time and attendance and payroll software
  • Experience with IPERS, LMS, Healthcare Industry is a plus and the desire to be an HRIS Super User!
