Grossberg Company LLP, a leader in their industry at utilizing various software applications and operates in a largely paperless environment, is seeking skilled a Human Resources Specialist to join its team in North Bethesda, Maryland. This position offers a hybrid work environment. 3 days/week in office required, other days at your discretion. The Human Resources Specialist will assist with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, performance and talent management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR technology. The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR best practices and dedicated to supporting both employees and leadership across the firm. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems
  • Support benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and claims resolution
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience recruiting in the public accounting or financial services industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday, etc.)

Wage and Salary Compensation Information:
Minimum Annual Salary $55,000 - Maximum Annual Salary $90,000.
The annual target salary in the Washington, DC job market is listed above. The compensation for this position will be based on education, certifications, experience, expertise, and skills of the successful candidate. The compensation range listed above is not reflective of total compensation, and does not include any other fringe benefits offered to full-time employees.
