Human Resources Specialist

Are you passionate about people, processes, and compliance? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in assisting with managing the full employee lifecycle starting with recruitment and onboarding to record keeping and HRIS maintenance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support all phases of the recruitment process: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring criteria and selection strategies.
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare materials, and participate in candidate selection.
  • Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and manage job offers.
  • Administer new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree with 1+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ADP, HRIS, and/or payroll systems.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

This is fulltime position.
