Human Resources Specialist
LOCATION: Washington, DC
POSITION TYPE: Onsite
Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist supports staffing and human resource operations in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for performing complex and specialized HR functions, with a focus on staffing, recruitment, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an HR Staffing Specialist, with a Delegated Examining (DE) certification. DHS experience is preferred.
Delegated Examining (DE) Certification required.
7-10 years of experience working as an HR Staffing Specialist.
Proven expertise in staffing and recruitment processes, including DE procedures.
Familiarity with DHS processes and procedures is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, federal regulations, and compliance standards.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
DHS experience is a plus.
Experience with federal government hiring processes and regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
