Job Overview:
The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting various HR functions including recruitment, employee on-boarding, records management, and HR-related administrative tasks. This position will play a key role in ensuring that HR processes run smoothly, while also contributing to a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:
Assist with job postings, resume screening, and coordinating interviews for open positions.

On-boarding:
Coordinate new hire orientation, including preparing new hire paperwork, setting up employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee files and databases, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Benefits Administration:
Assist with benefits enrollment and answer employee questions regarding health, wellness, and retirement plans.

Payroll Assistance:
Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate employee data and attendance records.

Training Coordination:
Help with organizing training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.

HR Reporting:
Assist with compiling HR reports related to employee attendance, turnover, and other HR metrics.

Compliance Support:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.

Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, escalating to HR Manager as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2-4 years of experience in HR.

Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
