We’re looking for a confident and polished HR generalist to join our close-knit team. In this role, you’ll work with our HR Consulting and Recruiting teams to post jobs, source and screen candidates, and help implement solutions that drive business results. Our ideal candidate will have both HR and recruiting experience, excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, and an ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships. This is a full-time, remote role in Jacksonville, Florida. Occasional travel for company events or onsite work at a client’s office is required.

Must Haves

Knowledge & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist (or similar title) and proven success partnering with employees and managers to deliver HR solutions and services in support of business objectives; ideally recruiting will be part of this experience and include defining key job requirements, sourcing, and interviewing candidates
  • 2+ years of experience in multiple HR disciplines including (but not limited to) employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, data administration, manager coaching, workplace and employment policies, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws
  • Experience using an HRIS system for viewing and updating data, and utilizing reporting features; technology savvy

  • Emerging business acumen; quick to understand business operations, key processes, and workflows
  • Polished communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation); poised, professional, and confident in interactions with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, present solutions, and make recommendations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pivot and shift smoothly between tasks/differing types of work throughout the day
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through; consistently give proactive status updates and do what you say you’ll do
  • Initiative to jump into work that is unfamiliar and independently figure things out, balanced with the insight to know when to ask questions or for guidance/advice
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, HR, Psychology, or another related field


Nice to Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or similar designation preferred
