Key Responsibilities
- Staff & Process Management: Lead and conduct performance reviews, and manage HR processes such as hiring, terminations, and onboarding.
- Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and interpret HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and counseling to management and employees on employee relations issues, including performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment efforts and ensure new employees receive proper orientation and benefit information.
- Benefits Administration: Manage and administer the company's benefits and wellness programs.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and provide management information, often involving automated systems and data analysis.
- Special Projects: Take a key role in special projects within the HR department, driving improvements and implementing new initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Solid knowledge in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, with some leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and various HR functional areas like recruitment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of automated HR systems.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
