HVAC and Machine Technician

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled HVAC and Machine Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- HVAC Systems:

- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and longevity

- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues, and perform repairs as needed

- Machine Operation and Maintenance:

- Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks

- Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning within specified parameters

- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed

- Quality and Compliance:

- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed

- Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure product quality and compliance

- Safety and Efficiency:

- Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings, and implement recommendations as approved

Requirements:

- Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, mechanical engineering) preferred

- Experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HVAC and machine operation and maintenance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

- Certifications:

- EPA certification or equivalent; OSHA certification a plus

- Skills:

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and machine operation and maintenance

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and record-keeping skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
