HVAC Commissioning Technician (Offshore)

Job Purpose:


Responsible for the installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems in offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. The role ensures HVAC systems are delivered, tested, and operated in full compliance with EPC execution standards, offshore safety requirements, and client technical specifications.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Technical Diploma / ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Mechanical Trade.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of HVAC experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects, preferably offshore or LNG facilities.
  • Strong hands-on experience in HVAC commissioning and offshore brownfield/greenfield environments.
  • Familiarity with marine HVAC systems and hazardous area requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience working under multi-national EPC contractors or LNG operators preferred.


Skills & Abilities:


  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in offshore industrial environments
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting capability under live plant conditions
  • Understanding of LNG facility standards and high-integrity safety culture
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and commissioning procedures
  • Strong awareness of SIMOPS and offshore permit systems
  • Team-oriented with ability to work in shift/rotation offshore schedules
  • High commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline
