Job Title: HVAC Electrical Technician (Short Term)

Duration: 2 Months Extendable
Salary – QAR 3,250 plus Food, Accommodation & Transport

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician responsible for executing assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring proper documentation, and adhering to company procedures and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day HVAC operations and maintenance activities
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance safely
• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to HVAC systems
• Perform system adjustments and electrical repair work
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment
• Handle fan adjustments, replacements, and maintenance
• Perform live electrical troubleshooting when required
• Read and interpret HVAC electrical drawings
• Troubleshoot compressor and fan motor failures
• Work on reciprocating, screw, and rotary compressors
• Perform commissioning of HVAC units
• Troubleshoot issues within HVAC control panels
• Follow reporting hierarchy and coordinate with supervisors/team leaders
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards
• Meet client requirements, work instructions, and service standards
• Assist team members in achieving KPIs
• Maintain proper documentation for all tasks
• Work as a permit holder when required
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with compressors (reciprocating, screw, rotary)
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and under supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in HVAC or related field
• Experience in industrial/commercial HVAC systems
• Permit holder certification (preferred)
