HVAC Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a qualified HVAC Engineer to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for our facility. The ideal candidate ensures optimal indoor environmental conditions, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, chillers, boilers) in line with project requirements and building codes.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults, propose corrective measures, and optimise system performance.
• Work with other engineering and building services teams to coordinate HVAC works with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scopes.
• Monitor system performance data, report on energy usage, and suggest improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards in all HVAC engineering activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in HVAC system design and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, building services, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics.
• Familiar with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, local regulations).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with contractors, vendors and other engineers.
