HVAC Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our facility management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), across our managed properties. This role is critical in ensuring comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, including AHUs and FCUs.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maximize equipment performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Recommend energy-efficient solutions and system upgrades to reduce operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with facility managers, contractors, and project teams on installations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably within facility management.
• Hands-on experience with AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and building management systems (BMS).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or HVAC modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE membership, or HVAC-specific credentials) are a plus.
