HVAC Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for various types of buildings, including calculations for heating/cooling loads, airflow requirements, and system integration.
• Manage the installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for HVAC equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
• Prepare and review detailed HVAC technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Oversee the installation process, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems with building designs.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure all HVAC works are completed according to design, safety standards, and schedules.
• Monitor system performance post-installation, ensuring energy efficiency and minimal downtime

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an HVAC Engineer in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including split systems, chillers, ventilation, and control systems.
• Proficient in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Trane Trace, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC systems.
