Pay Range: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
The HVAC Installer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Installations must meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and all applicable federal, state, and local codes. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring strong technical ability, teamwork, and a customer-focused mindset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safety is our company’s number one priority. All employees must comply with company safety policies and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Install HVAC systems including, but not limited to, air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, package units, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial environments.
- Install ductwork and related components to industry standards and properly balance systems.
- Ensure installations are completed efficiently while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Follow all company, manufacturer, city, state, and county code requirements.
- Protect customer property and maintain clean, organized work areas during and after installation.
- Remove and properly dispose of old equipment and materials as required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Accurately complete work orders, task lists, and required documentation.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Continually seek opportunities for training, growth, and process improvement.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Work may be performed indoors, outdoors, on rooftops, and in confined spaces.
Qualifications & Experience
- HVAC installation 2 years experience preferred (residential, commercial, or both).
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical experience is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve installation challenges.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, including handling of hazardous materials.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive weekly pay (Wednesday–Tuesday pay period).
- Overtime pay for:
- Hours worked over 40 in a weekly pay period
- All weekend work (beginning Saturday at 12:00 AM)
- Holidays, regardless of total weekly hours
- $500/month employer contribution toward health insurance
