HVAC Parts Purchaser

Mechanical Contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance for the NY Tri-State area is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a Purchasing / Procurement Coordinator on a full-time basis. The Procurement Coordinator will report directly to the Sr. Purchaser of the company and be responsible for all procurement, tracking, and allocating of all material, and equipment purchased.

Description:

• Managing all vendor contracts
• Oversee day to day purchasing of all supplies, equipment, and material for the company.
• Track and allocate all purchases between each job site.
• Maintain supply inventory of purchased goods including generating monthly usage reports
• Analyzing cost and price data, reviewing proposals, and performing bid analysis.
• Negotiate with approved vendors, and review and approve all invoices.
• Obtain pricing for bids and support the Estimating department as needed.

Qualification:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a purchaser in an HVAC/Mechanical company
• Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast pace environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Should be well versed in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
