Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical with a strong background in hospitality industry projects (hotels, resorts, commercial kitchens, HVAC systems, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical systems within hospitality projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end mechanical engineering aspects of hospitality-related construction and renovation projects.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and commercial kitchen equipment installations.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, interior designers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Supervise site execution, installation, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare project reports, schedules, and documentation.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Optimize project workflows to minimize costs without compromising on quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site and propose effective solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably in the hospitality or commercial infrastructure sector.
• Proven experience in handling large-scale hotel/resort projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of relevant Indian and international codes and standards.

Additional Information:

• Immediate Joiner preferred.
• Based in Chennai, but open to travel as per project needs.
• Language Proficiency: English, Tamil (preferred).

Salary: Competitive – based on experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
