HVAC Service Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of service activities, ensuring top-tier quality and customer satisfaction. Duties

• Manage and supervise HVAC service technicians, ensuring efficient scheduling and high-quality service delivery
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Review schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
• Coordinate with clients to assess property maintenance needs and develop tailored service plans
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all field operations
• Conduct equipment repair assessments using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; oversee repairs on mechanical components including plumbing and appliances
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for accountability and reporting purposes

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair techniques
• Proven experience in construction project management related to HVAC installations or upgrades
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans
• Field service expertise with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in welding and boiler maintenance
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles is advantageous

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
