HVAC Service Technician

What You’ll Do:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems: air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, dehumidifiers, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on residential and light commercial systems.
  • Install new systems in accordance with manufacturer specs and local codes.
  • Use diagnostic tools to test system components (electrical, airflow, refrigerant levels).
  • Replace defective parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, or ductwork.
  • Advise customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate service records, timesheets, and part usage logs.
  • Comply with all safety protocols, refrigerant handling procedures, and EPA guidelines.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours/emergency service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC training/apprenticeship preferred)
  • EPA Section 608 Certification
  • 5+ Years experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, diagnostics and repair
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work on ladders, and in confined spaces or extreme temperatures

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Carrier, Lennox, Trane, or similar systems
  • Experience with smart thermostats and energy-efficient systems
  • Previous customer-facing service experience

  • Monday to Friday
  • On-call rotation (some evenings/weekends)
