HVAC Supervisor

Job Summary

An HVAC Supervisor in the UAE oversees the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and overall performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and climate control systems across commercial, residential, industrial, or facilities management projects. The role involves team leadership, technical supervision, safety compliance, and quality control to ensure all HVAC operations meet project and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC technicians and site staff.
• Schedule and delegate daily tasks and activities for installation, maintenance, and repairs.

2. Installation & Commissioning

• Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV, ductwork, piping).
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, technical specs, and method statements.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for all HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose system issues (mechanical, electrical, refrigerant circuits) and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor system performance and optimize efficiency.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with UAE safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce HSE policies

5. Quality Assurance

• Inspect workmanship and HVAC system performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify defects and ensure corrective action is taken.

6. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and project managers.
• Prepare progress and maintenance reports, documentation, and work logs.
• Assist with budget estimates for parts, manpower, and equipment needs

7. Inventory & Tools Management

• Manage tools, equipment, spare parts, and inventory.
• Liaise with procurement for material availability.

Education

• Diploma or ITI in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or HVAC technology is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
