HVAC Technician

AC technician responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems by diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance like cleaning coils and filters, replacing faulty parts, and testing for optimal performance. Technicians must follow safety protocols, maintain accurate service records, advise customers, and stay updated on new HVAC technologies to ensure systems are efficient, safe, and compliant with regulations. Installation & Setup

• Install: new air conditioning units and components according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
• Install: and maintain ductwork.
• Calibrate: thermostats and adjust system settings for optimal performance.

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning coils and filters, to ensure proper system functioning and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electrical and mechanical components of AC systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, fan coils, and thermostats.
• Test and inspect systems to verify operational efficiency and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure condensation drain lines are clear and draining properly.

Customer Service & Administration

• Provide: customer support, answer questions, and explain maintenance needs to clients.
• Provide: cost estimates for repair and installation services.
• Maintain: accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow: all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure: compliance with local HVAC codes and industry standards.
• Stay: updated on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices.
