HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Conduct electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faulty components or wiring issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems involving refrigeration cycles.
• Operate welding equipment for repairs or modifications of HVAC components when necessary.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports for all performed tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
• Hands-on experience with construction projects related to HVAC installation or property maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration cycles and related equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus.
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing instruments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of welding techniques systems relevant to HVAC work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces.
• Proficient in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
