Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our facility's HVAC systems, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Daikin VRV/VRF and ERV HVAC systems

• Diagnose controls, and building management system faults, low-voltage, and communication wiring issues

• Trace and repair refrigerant line leaks; perform leak testing, evacuation, charging, and refrigerant recovery

• Replace compressors, condenser fan motors, blower motors, expansion valves, sensors, contactors, relays, and related HVAC components

• Operate manufacturer diagnostic software/tools and centralized HVAC touchscreen controls

• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain detailed repair/service logs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years HVAC/Refrigeration experience required

• Strong experience with VRV systems and ERV units preferred

• Experience with Daikin equipment preferred

• EPA Certified

• Ability to independently troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems

• Willingness to attend manufacturer-specific training if needed
