Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, plumbing fixtures, and appliances to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform equipment repair tasks such as welding, component replacement, and calibration using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Assist with property maintenance activities including HVAC/R system upgrades, boiler servicing, and general mechanical repairs.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for field service calls across various locations.
- Document all service activities thoroughly through reports and logs to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in related construction or mechanical fields.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles for effective troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler servicing, and property maintenance.
- Familiarity with field service procedures including diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating HVAC/R equipment is preferred.
- Additional skills such as mechanic experience, welding certification, or familiarity with building schematics are advantageous. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
