HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
• HVAC duct installation
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns regarding HVAC performance.
• Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
• Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as necessary.
• Demonstrate proficiency in appliance repair related to HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a strong focus on HVAC/R systems.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC equipment effectively.
• Proficiency in welding techniques as they relate to HVAC installations and repairs is preferred.
• Familiarity with design principles for efficient heating and cooling systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required for field service responsibilities.
