new and upcoming busy HVAC company looking for the right person to come on at the ground floor. looking for a responsible person, who will show up to work every day ready to go.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), and related mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as pipe installation, leak detection, and system flushing.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to identify faults and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks including appliance repair, boiler servicing, and general mechanical repairs on-site.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools or equipment as needed for field service operations.
- Document all work performed accurately in service logs and reports while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Experience in construction-related tasks such as welding, pipe fitting, and equipment installation.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems relevant to HVAC applications; familiarity with property maintenance procedures.
- Field service experience working directly on-site with HVAC units or appliances in various property settings.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
