Hybrid Pharmacy Technician Instructor M-F PM Class

ABC Training Center located at 50 East Fordham Road in the Bronx is looking for another Pharmacy Technician Instructor to join our staff. We currently run a Pharm Tech class but need another instructor for agency sponsored classes.

Class Schedule: Monday - Friday 6pm - 9pm

We are looking for a Pharmacy Tech Instructor. This is a "HYBRID" schedule so you will be teaching both via Zoom and in the school. The ratio is 75% remote 25% on campus.

Your will be required to get licensed as an instructor by the BPSS New York State Education Department (which we will will assist with and pay for your license)

Responsibilities:

· Teach the approved BPSS curriculum in the following course subject: Pharmacy Technician

· Keep immaculate records for each student

· Work hand in hand with the Director of Education and the Director of Student Services

· Provide compassionate education and understand not every student is at the same learning level

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing health care training to students while adhering to BPSS standards. New York's Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York. The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision is part of the New York State Education Department.

Qualifications

· Must have at least 2 years’ experience

· Experience with Zoom and other online platforms

· Must have patience and work well with people

· Have an open schedule

· Must be a Certified Pharmacy Tech (PTCB)

· BPSS Teachers License (If you do not have one you will be required to get one - which we will help you get - required for part time as well as full time instructors)
