Rawafid is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our esteemed engineering team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for various projects related to water resources, sewage systems, and irrigation networks. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will prepare detailed design documentation, perform calculations, and conduct simulations to achieve sustainable hydraulic outcomes. - Establish water/sewerage/irrigation/stormwater network, preferred pipeline materials and procedures for the planning and detailed design.
- Design& review topographical, geotechnical, and related surveys.
- Prepare detailed designs including specifications, drawings and BOQs of water/sewerage network system, Water pumping stations, Lift stations and Water Storage facilities.
- Assess the quality and quantity of each implementation phase of the supply scheme.
- Assess the most suitable, economic and easy way to operate and maintain pumping and network systems.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Preparation priced and un-priced of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Projects.
- Preparation of project specifications.
- Guiding draftsman/modeler to produce the required tender drawings.
- Collaborating with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) engineers to study and perform population census calculations and analyze the results.
- Capable of developing design water /wastewater network using proper software system.
- Create and review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.
- Design and evaluation of water hammer.
- Managing engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
- Provide Quality Control/Quality Assurance for work projects.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills; visit clients, jobsites and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development needs.
- Review and critique proposals, plans, or designs related to water or wastewater treatment systems.
- Review the As Built drawings and extract the information to be used in the design.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering.
- 7-12 years of experience in hydraulic design and modeling.
- Familiar with all engineering standards and codes ACI /ASTM/ AWWA/NWC Specifications.
- Proficiency in hydraulic design software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and water resources engineering principles.
- Knowledge of local and international standards related to water and wastewater systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS software is a plus.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
