Hydraulic Mechanic

JOB DESCRIPTION – HYDRAULIC MECHANIC

Position: Hydraulic Mechanic
Location: Qatar
Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Instrumentation Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years in maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repair all hydraulic system , main hydraulic pumps, and hydraulic cylinders, out riggers and valves & Troubleshooting and repair of electrical system of the hydraulic , should have experience specially in Cranes Terex , Stackers (lifter of container ) & forklift expert in All terrain mobile cranes and to filter possibly on at least 200t crane (brands like TEREX, DEMAG , LEIBHERR OR OTHER GERMAN BRANDS ) .
• The candidate should have hands on hydraulic & electrical trouble shooting skills on heavier cranes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of hydraulic equipment.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Replace or repair defective parts and reassemble hydraulic units.
• Conduct performance testing and pressure checks after repairs.
• Maintain service records and report equipment status to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams for system improvements.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, fluid power principles, and mechanical components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, gauges, and precision measuring instruments.
• Hands-on experience in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
